Our household is located near the source of the Pliva River, in the village of Pljeva, close to the town of Šipovo. At an altitude of about 483 meters, the river’s surroundings and the soothing sound of the Pliva provide one of the best spots for rest and relaxation. The Household at the End of the World is the result of one family’s inspiration to live and work on their ancestral land. For years, we have been developing our household, offering only the best in order to make our guests feel at home. Within the property, there is also a restaurant that serves traditional homemade specialties.
Our story began in 2019, when the young host returned from working on a cruise ship and invested all his savings into tourism. The source of the Pliva River is the largest source of drinking water in Europe, making it a notable tourist destination. Many visitors come here to escape the rush of everyday life and the noise of the city.
